I have been seeing someone for a couple of years.  We have been having some difficulties in our relationship and I need to know if I should keep trying to make this relationship work.

Answer:
Dear One,

The person that you have attracted represents the issues that you still carry.  You own half of this problem. If you leave, you will just re-create the same thing with someone else.  It is time for some personal growth work, and to stop laying blame. Start giving more love, and less negativity.

A RELATIONSHIP STORY:

A woman was in a relationship for many years.  They had their ups and downs, but she was always critical of her boyfriend, no matter how hard he tried. He eventually stopped trying, and then she got more angry with him.  One day she stopped, and took a look at what she was saying to him.  She realized that she sounded just like her own mother.  She decided to take several days away from him, to figure out what all of it meant.

When they started to date again she started to treat him with more love.  When he got her a cup of coffee, she told him how sweet he was.  When he changed the light bulb in her kitchen, she told him how much he helped her.  The man  began to shine, and to feel loved and appreciated.  In a matter of a few weeks the relationship was transformed into one of love.  They were married later that same year.

Remember, if you want love, to give love, and it will be returned.
