"A
man in his 40's had searched for love his whole life. He was driven
to find the right person, as though he would never rest until he found
"her", the woman of his dreams. He had married twice unsuccessfully,
and dated many women after that. He became very bitter from the dating
process, from so many disappointments. He became hardened in his heart.
He felt that he would never find love. Feeling alone, he turned to a spiritual
life and tried to connect more with God. About this same time, he
also started some personal growth work to find out more about who he really
was.
One
night, deep in his world of dreams, he saw "Her". In his dream he
met the woman that he would marry. In his dream,.. a woman had agreed
to meet him in a large, open restaurant. Even in his dream he said,
"I bet she won't show up." As he impatiently waited at his table
in the restaurant, in a flash she appeared. She threw her coat on
the back of a chair; and immediately apologized for being late. She
quickly opened her arms to hug him, and he embraced her, tears welled up
in his eyes. His heart opened to her. She was the one that
he had searched for.
When
he woke up from his dream, his eyes were still wet with tears. And, he
knew that he would soon find her. A few months later, walking down the
middle isle at the drugs store, he saw her, the same woman who had appeared
to him in his dream. He carefully walked up to her. They both
'knew' when their eyes met. They were married the next year.
Don't
give up on love. If you can't find love, then maybe it will find
you. When you are ready, it will arrive."
