Your body knows how to breathe, and all that you are doing is paying attention to your breathing. When you mind comes in with a thought, just go back to focus on the breath again. Eventually you will get very good at doing this, and you will find yourself connecting to the calm place that is already inside of you, with more ease. At home, you can do this exercise with your eyes closed. When you are in line at the store, and people are ahead of you, you can just lower your eyes, and watch your breathe that way. When you are waiting for something to print, or download, you can lower your eyes to the keyboard, and just breathe. The calm place within, was there when you were born. And, it is still there.
